The Minor Pentatonic Scales

The minor pentatonic scale is a five-note scale built on scale degrees 1 ,b3,  4, 5, b7 from the minor natural scale. It is a great place to start improvising over simple changes . For example, you can use the C minor pentatonic scale over Cm7, Fm7 (a perfect fourth above) and Eb major (a major thIrd above).  If you like the sound of it, it would be a good thing to memorize these relationships.
