I noticed that many of the fundamental lessons are missing from this course, I still need to practice them.
I am keeping here only the lessons on chromatic harmonica techniques. I moved lessons on the c major scale, pentatonic scale or arpeggios to courses relative to scales and arpeggios.
Thanks Yvonnick for these lessons as they have really help me to understand better in playing the chromatic harmonica.
After three years, I am still a frequent visitor to this segment. As I am learning new standards, I also go to other lessons for the scales I need to practice for a specific standard. No stone unturned here. Great job!
Hello, I find the “jaw drop” video very interesting, especially for beginners ! I found that when I am using my Hohner CX12 black, the shape of the mouthpiece forces me to practice the jaw drop more than others which is helpful for a better sound. Does anyone feel the same ? Greetings, Björn
it could be that the Cx12 mouthpiece is bigger compared to the Xpression, ace 48 or 270. I remember also having no difficulty bending on hole 1 to 3. The lower hole on the cx12 are more sensitive to air pressure and can bend easily. It’s important to keep the air stream free to get a clear tone. The jaw drop is the solution
Completed the fundamental course but still practicing parts to get some speed. However, I understand what i’m trying to achieve. I’m taking courses slowly as I’ve a year to go.
Hi All, i have started this course in the pathways section but i have noticed there is more content in this one, will switch to this one . Im new here and very happy to have found the harmonica studio. I have a long way to go but im convinced i can get there. Happy Chrismas to you all !
